The selection process included total 4 rounds. The first one was an online aptitude test. There was total 170 questions, 11 sections and 80 mins time. Time management was very important in this section. Somehow I cleared the first round and then promoted to the essay writing round. It was a non elimination round. After that there was technical round. My technical interview was for almost 80 mins. The interviewer asked me some hr questions like:

Why you? what is the unique quality you do have. Tell me what will you cook for me if you can\'t recall what I love to eat. Then he asked me what is DBMS? why do we need DBMS? what is desktop application and what is web application? what is the difference between RAM and hard disk etc there were so many questions that I can\'t recall right now.

Most of the answers I did not know and I said it politely and expressed my eagerness to learn those things. The main intention was to see my confidence level and communication skill. Somehow I managed to clear the Technical round and then in the HR round few common questions were asked like:-

Tell me about yourself?

Why should I hire you?

You are the only child of your parents so what will you do if I post you at Hyderabad?

As my essay topic was Social media he asked me how it has influenced you? how can it be beneficial for Tech Mahindra? The essay was also evaluated in this round. Finally at 4 am they declared their result and fortunately I was selected. The only advice I would like to give is be confident and smart.
