Hi All,

I attended the Tech Mahindra campus interview process.

10 am-Around 650 students appeared for the campussing. Ii was pool based on campussing of jis group for 2014 batch.

1st round-online aptitude 180 questions for 80 minutes. The main deciding factor is the verbal part.

2nd round - essay writing.

Topics: Are examinations the best way to judge student\'s performance?

Is luck everything.

I wrote 2 paras of around 20 sentences.

Tips: Write in neat and clean handwriting. Do not make grammatical mistakes. Have a brief overview about what you have written as qs will be asked about it in hr round.

3rd round:

Me: May I come in.
Sir: Yes.

Me: May I take my seat.
Sir: Yes.

At first I was bit nervous as the whole process was taking place on the same day.

Sir: Are you a bit nervous.
Me: No sir.

Sir: How was your day?
Me: Challenging and tiring : P.

Sir: What your hobbies.
Me (Bit confused about whether it was tr or hr) : Travelling.

Around for 5 mins I talked about it. At various places I have visited and cited experiences. . The interviewer was very interactive.

Sir: Which subject you have studied?
Me: Dbms. (I am from cse background).

Sir: What is data?information?
Me: Answered with smile on face.

Sir: Write query to find names, sal from emp tbl of those emp having max salary.
Me: Wrote.

Sir: Integrity constraints.
Me: Told.

Sir: Key, superkey, composite key?
Me: Told.

Sir: You have c as subject. You are from cse. Can I ask you programming?
Me: Yes sir.

Sir: Sorting of numbers.
Me: Wrote. But little bit wrong.

Sir: Corrected it.
Sir: How do you want to contribute for tm?
Me told.

Sir: Okay all the best for the results.
Me: Interrupted and asked qs to him which I have prepared previously.

Sir (impressed) : Answered my queries and shook hands with me.
Me I thanked him and left.

After a long wait I was called for hr.

$th round: Hr.

Mam: Hi ! how was your day?
Me: Fine.

Mam: What have you written in d essay?
Me: told.

Mam: How many members in family?
Me: Told.

Mam: Do you have relocation pblm?
Me: Told.

Mam: Hobbies?
Me: Dancing.

Mam (smiled) : One more member for our cultural events.
Mam: What do you want to change in India?
Me: Told.

Then related qs were asked and my hr was over.

Both the interviewers were friendly and the smile on their faces gave me confidence.

Do not lose the smile on face. If you are not prepared with your answers especially in case of tr just admit it.

The results were announced at around 10:30 pm on the same day. 94 were selected. And a lot of thanks to god and all those who supported me that I was selected : ).
