Hello friends!
I\'m Meenakshi and now I\'m gonna share my experience of the TM selection. The selection process basically includes four rounds. The first is a written round (online) then comes an essay writing round (its a non elimination round, but definitely a deciding parameter as they want you to be good with your communication skills. :). Specially, friends when you are aiming to join a multinational firm you can\'t afford to be grammatically incorrect, at least:P:P!. Plus of course you should have a good vocab as well.
It\'d be a cherry on the cake!) after this non elimination round comes your main round, your technical round. But frankly speaking they don\'t want you to sound extremely intelligent and know it all kinda girl or guy instead they just want you to be well versed with the basics of your branch plus in the worst case the codes of C or C++. (only if it isn\'t one of your lucky days. :P:P). Being an ECE student they asked me about:
1. Microprocessors.
2. Controllers.
3. Basics of modulation and demodulation.
But the most important thing is. Be prepared with your projects! (its the most significant and a cent percent certain question of your interview. So if you\'re good with it then the technical round is gonna be like a cake walk for u! plus of course consider the training which you\'ve undergone positively. Its gonna help you for sure:).
Then comes the HR round. There they\'re basically judging your confidence level, of course your communication skills. (be fluent, don\'t be in haste think before speaking take your time and even pauses if required, reflect your positive aspects only (like team work, leadership qualities. Etc) , in short impress him before getting trapped in the webs of HR\'s questions!:P. But friends almost 80% chances are there that once after cracking your written round you won\'t get rejected. Hence here\'s a brief of the written round:
1. Questions on numerical ability (number series completion, finding the odd number out kinda questions) , completing alphabetical series, blood relations etc.
2. Then comes the general aptitude section (problems on time and word, profit loss. ).
3. Then comes the section where you can score heavily. Yup, your English part. (be prepared with antonyms, synonyms, parts of speech. ) this much is more than enough to get through!:).
Eventually after all the rounds result was out. And trust me it took a lot of time (as it was a pool campus and five colleges participated in it and out of 750+ students 80 got selected). And I\'m one of them:). Felt great!:).
So guys, do well be positive and we\'ll meet each other at the company campus now:) :) good luck !:).
