Hii every one. I have attended the tech Mahindra on campus drive held for 2014 batch at BVRIT, Narsapur on 3rd march 2014. Nearly, 260 students attended the on campus drive.

At about 10 am the drive was started with a pre placement talk and the hr explained about the company, the package details, the job role and also about the written test and interview pattern.

It consisted of 3 rounds.

1. Written test.
2. Technical interview.
3. HR interview.

WRITTEN TEST.

It\'s an online based test containing 170 questions and time limit was 80 min and there is no negative marking.

It consists of two sections.

English and Aptitude.

In English there are about 100 questions and consists of 8 sub sections.

- Tenses (1).
- Subject-Verb Agreement (2).
- Sentence Construction (3).
- Reading Passage (4).
- Prepositions (5).
- Confusable Words (6).
- Building Verbiage (7).
- Articles (8).

And then the Aptitude part. It consists of 3 sub sections and about 70 questions.

Logical and analytical reasoning - nonverbal (1).
Logical and analytical reasoning - verbal (2).
Numerical and mathematical abilities (3).

About 50 students cleared the written test.

We were given an application form to fill up and also were asked to write a passage and also to submit the certificates which will be carried out through the other rounds.

TECHNICAL INTERVIEW:

In the technical round interviewer asked me questions from dbms (joins, FD, primary foreign keys etc) c programs (matrix multiplication, sorting, swapping etc) , CN layers, SE. Some of them were asked on java and the projects written in resume.

HR INTERVIEW:

The HR round is mainly to check your English communication. So be confident and clear on what you speak. He asked me to tell me about me, why should we hire you, why Tech Mahindra, strengths and weaknesses and also asked me the name of president of India. Sometimes they can even ask for IT minister of India and the state and If your father or mother works under government service then they can ask questions related to that like if he/she works in railways then they can ask for railway minister\'s name.

35 students cleared the interview and I was one among them.

Clearing the written exam is most important, so concentrate on it because major filtration will be done in the written test.

In HR rounds be confident and speak fluently, If you don\'t know anything don\'t give wrong answers, just tell that you will learn those things.

ALL THE BEST !
