Tech Mahindra conducts its placements in 4 rounds-.
1. Aptitude Test: It consisted of 11 sections of which 3 were from quant and the remaining from verbal. 170 questions in a span of 80 min. Verbal was easy. Quant was basically on Partnership, time and distance, time and work, simple and compound interest. Sectional cut off in both quant and verbal. Many were rejected here.
2. Paragraph writing: A topic was given and we were asked to write a paragraph with at least 15 lines in it. The topic given to me was "What role does luck play in your life". There is no elimination in this round.
3. Technical round: This is the main round of the interview. Many of my friends experienced basic C and subject related questions. General awareness questions like "who is the vice president of India, IT minister of India and what is the highest literary award given to a person in India" were asked to me along with C and my engineering subjects. Questions based on presence of mind were also asked. Its all about talking with confidence. If you don't know any answer, don't feel hesitant to say the same. Many people were rejected here.
4. HR round: It was kind of easy. Questions related to yourself and 'what do you see yourself in 5 years', 'will you leave Tech Mahindra if Infosys calls u' were asked. Questions based on the paragraph you have written were also asked. Almost all of them were selected here.
