Tips:

1) Give some time to practice series questions.
2) Before the interview, Collect all the information about the company.
3) Attend the ppt actively and keep your ears open: P During HR interview they may ask you anything from ppt.
4) Just take a brief overview about testing tools if the job profile is QA Engineer.

Competing with around 200 students, it wasn't an easy placement journey. I wasn't placed for 6 months from the date the first company arrived and all the top giants had been a dream now. Rejected in 1st round, 2nd or Interviews was a habit. How to win this situation?

Placement is a mixture of an equal percentage of Hard Work and Luck. But how to win Luck. It's your attitude which would help in achieving that luck. I think one should interact more and more with those who are placed and discuss one's shortcomings or loopholes, ask about their interview experience (not just questions but the thinking process) and most importantly preparation journey. Ask them to interview you. Evaluate yourself and analyze which areas need to be improved and focus upon.

Last but not least, "if you believe in God", do offer your prayers regularly not just during placement season but make it a habit. How I have seen it as Do Your Karma, something somewhere better is waiting for you. As there is an appropriate saying "In God's home there is delay but not darkness". So friends. Wish you good luck! Just work hard :).
