Placement Papers - Syntel

Hi friends I am sharing my interview experience with you, So that it can help you while attending syntel.

Syntel conducted off campus in the month of August, where the written exam was held on 13th Aug 2014 in HYD. It was a complicated task to answer 90 questions in 60 min. I answered without reading questions ,due to lack of time. So Time efficiency is important in written test.

The Result was announced 20 days later, by gods grace I cleared it. They said they will mail me next round details shortly. 
After waiting for more than 3 months I got my next round details. It is in Chennai GDC on Nov 17, 2014.

There were 3 rounds,
1) GD.
2) Technical.
3) HR.

GD Time : 10.00AM.

In my GD panel there were 11 members(6 girls,5 boys), The topic was "Whether Women are Good Managers or Not". I thought to start the discussion but other guy started it.After 8 guys I got the chance. I started Supporting ,Women are Good managers and gave some examples like chanda kochary(ICICI ceo) etc. After every spoke HR asked 2 girls whether you want to add some more points. I thought I am rejected, But HR called my name to add some points and I added. At the end she called 3 names 2 girls and 1 boy(myself) to wait in other room. Remaining peoples asked to submit their Tag and leave.

Time: 10.30AM.

After going to other room they asked us to fill the form.And said to wait for the next round(TR). I got my chance at 4.00 pm. My technical panel was some what easy because when i reached my panel there was only 1 tag on the table(1 person got rejected) and he was polite and smiley.

TR Ques?
me: Good afternoon sir.
TR: Good afternoon.
TR: Introduce yourself?
me: Answered.

TR: You are from ECE, so what languages you know?
Me: I am trained in Java.

TR: Asked basic questions like object, class, Inheritance, polymorphism, overriding and overloading?
me: Answered.

TR: Asked you know HTML, CSS(which was there in my resume)?
Me: Yes sir, I designed a website.

TR: Which website?
me: XXXX consulting services.

TR: Ok well You wait in the other room.
me : Thank you sir.

Lucky to have my Tag with me only.
My TR panel was easy then others, because panel asked them to write programs. 

Time: 4.30pm.

People cleared TR asked to wait in other room.

HR:

In waiting room I met new friends we were asking what ques asked in HR to the people who attended. I enjoyed my time.

Different ques asked like 10 different currency, Australian Pm etc.

At last at 7.30Pm I got my chance.

The HR was standing and and wished(good morning with shaking hands).
TR: Sit down.
Me: Thank you sir.

TR: I want to stand and continue this round.. are you ok for this?
Me: No sir please sit because it feels me unpleasant.

TR: Then he sat.
TR: Introduce your self?
Me : Answered.

TR: Which movie you watched recently?
Me: Sir I don\'t remember but 2 days back I watched BATMAN BEGINS in TV.

TR : What do know about Christopher Nolan?
Me : In confusion I said he is a good actor.

TR : Good actor..?
Me: sorry Director..

TR: Ok, You know anything about him?
Me: I don\'t know much about him but his film Interstellar is released recently.

TR: What do know about Interstellar?
Me: I don\'t know much about it, but viewers gave 4 out of 5 rating sir, and I am thinking to watch this movie next week.

TR : Your Favourite car ?
Me: Honda City..

TR: Why?
Me: The design and features are excellent sir that why..

TR: What about Hyundai verna design it is also good na, why City.
Me: Verna is my next favorite...

TR: Ok, Just give a situation where you felt so happy in your life? If I like it you\'re selected...
Me : Said with confidence.

TR: Ok fine your interview is done you can leave now, we mail you the result in 2 days.
Me: sir please say whether I am selected or not.
TR: You\'re selected(Golden words).
Me: Thank you very much sir.

Friends cracking syntel is easy just be confident.
