I attended the referral drive for freshers of 2013 batch for Syntel.

In the aptitude,

Total No of questions. 90.

30 Analytical.
30 Numerical.
30 Verbal Reasoning.

Time: 60 mins.

Note: No Negative marking for Aptitude.

So Try To solve It completely.

If you can not then Use Logic "JAY MATA DI".

1 - Analytical Questions,

These were easy as I was given first preference to that.

I just everyone to solve it first of all.

It will save your time as well.

Topics:

I - Coding Decoding,
II - Rearrangement of words.
III - Blood Relations.

Etc.

2- Numerical questions (QA).

I - on average.
II - time and distance.
III - profit and loss.
IV - on work and time.
V - mixtures.
VI - trains.
VII - Pipes & Cisterns.
VIII - Ratio.
IX - HCF.
X - Simple interest, Compound interest.
XI - Simplification, Area.

Note: RS. AGRAWAL is sufficient for it.

RS Agarwal will be more than enough to crack the Syntel apti.

3-verbal Reasoning,

I - 5 questions on correct words in the blank space,
II - 5 questions on synonyms,
III - 2 on antonyms,
IV - 5 questions on correct order of sentences,
V - 5 questions on spotting errors,
VI - 8 questions on a passage.

Next Round,

**** GD *******.

Most tough round.

If you crack it then assume you will be a syntel employee probably.

No.of participants: 10.

Selection Criteria: 4/10.

Time allocate For My Round is: 35 mins.

Everyone got chance to present their opinion.

IMPORTANT: Don\'t think that you will be selected if you start first.

Topics like,

I - Influences of social media.
II - privatization does lead to reduce corruption or not. ?

Hint:

Confidence is the key to crack this round.

As well luck so far.

Be confident that on your opinion.

And another one part i.e. communication is also as important as confident.

Best part is that,

Everyone get chance to speak, as well as debate also.

Don\'t get carried away. It may be a trap.

3 - Technical Round.

As per my Experience,

My Technical Round is easy as compare to other one.

Questions:

1. Which language you most like in Engineering. ?

Ans: Java.

2. Why we use Java instead of "C".

Ans: Features of java I explain.

3. What is pointer. ?

4. Why Pointers not used in Java.

5. Write a program to print Even no from 1 to 100.

Note:He/She may be ask you anyone basic program. Algo.. etc.

Just prepare basic algorithms like Prime, Fibonacci series,... etc.

6. About Project Mini as Well BE project.

Just try to engage them in project.

It will help you lot.

If you wanna stop firing from other side.

4 - HR.

For HR Round, Friends I will suggest you that make your CV carefully.

Whatever you know just mention in that.

No need to put other details.

My HR Round was too funny actually,

He ask me common questions.

I will just mention some of them.

1. Tell me about yourself.
2. Why syntel not others if you have offer in hand. ?
3. About family.
4. Ready to reallocate. ?
5. Why we hire you. ?
