Placement Papers - Syntel

Firstly the written round was conducted in which there were 90 questions to be completed in 60 minutes.

No negative marking.

Questions were basically from data interpretation verbal reasoning series etc.

Many people including me cleared the written round.

After few days a mail regarding interview was sent to selected candidates.

Group discussion was there which was the major elimination round.

They basically check you comm skills.

Groups of 10 people were formed. My topic was "Consumer really is a king".

3/10 were selected. I was one of them :).

Nxt was tech interview. Quite easy! They ask you final year project, oops, C, C++.

He asked me diff btwn array n linked list, polymorphism, encapsulation, water jug problem, a puzzle, basic C prog.

I cleared the round :).

Then HR. Again focus on your comm skills.

She asked me about my family.

Why syntel?

Ready to relocate?

Any break in education etc?

Locations were pune mumbai and chennai.
