Placement Papers - Syntel

It comprises of three rounds:

1. Aptitude- Basic maths questions, logical reasoning and quant part. Number of participants:- 500, cleared APTI:- 95

2. Tech round:- If you are applying for IT then the questions are normally on routers, switches, C++, program to swap a number, Fibonacci series and they also ask about basic scripting in linux. Among 90 only 24 cleared the tech round including me.

3. HR round:

Interviewer: Good morning, Take a seat.
Me: Thank you mam.

I: Tell me about yourself?
Me: Said.

I: What are your hobbies?
Me: Said.

I: Tell me 5 good things about syntel?
Me: Said.

I: Are you willing to relocate?
Me: Said Yes.

I: Ok It was nice talking with you, Please wait outside and we will let you know.

So 24 guys were waiting outside for the result and at 9.30 pm the declared it and only 15 guys were selected including me.

My joining location was Seepz Andheri and JOD was 4th July 2012.
Salary Package:- 2.6L pa.

I was very much excited to work with Syntel but on 3rd July I got a call from Syntel Pune branch and the HR head told me that they cannot proceed my onboarding with syntel and my joining was cancelled. When I asked for a reason she said I did not fit into the eligibility criteria.
