Hi friends I am Srinu, have attended an interview on 14-12-2013 (software engineer traine on java domain) in SoftSol.

I have got a written test, and taken 2 technical interviews. Now am waiting for the final round.
So, I am sharing my interview details with you, for future reference.
(total questions 30, 30 minutes time, no negative marks, in our test cut off is 15, for technical core java is enough for fresher).

I) Written test.
1) English (synonyms, correction of sentences, some data and asking questions).
2) Aptitude (boats and streams, time and work, calendar, blood relations, give some data ask questions on that).
3) logical reasoning (number series, verbal reasoning).

II) Technical interview.
1) OOPS concepts.
2) Collection types, hash map.
3) Write a program with any method to call a string.
4) Access specifiers.

III) Technical interview.
1) Some discussions on the main () method of class.
2) Threads.
3) Exceptions, types, when it will arise.
4) Synchronized.
5) Difference between wait () and sleep ().
6) Can you call two main () methods within a class?
7) Some questions and tricky questions on exceptions.
8) Already we have Thread super class but why we are implementing a Runnable interface?
9) Difference between ArrayList and vector.

(must and should you have a good knowledge of these concepts (oops, exceptions, treads, collections, interfaces).
