On September 25th Qburst conducted a pooled campus recruitment at SCT College of Engineering, Trivandrum. Initially, we thought that we couldn't attend the recruitment since the company was concentrated more on CSE students and we were from ECE but later we got an opportunity.
The placement process mainly consisted of two sections written test and Interview:
1) Written test - Mainly consisted of quantitative, logical and programming.
2) Interview - Combined Technical and HR interviews.
They have told us that they are giving more importance to programming section which consisted of 10 questions from C programming (Majority questions asked to find the output from given piece of code). No negative marking was present!
After a certain time they had announced test results and I was qualified for the interview. After a long time, I was called for the interview and was led to the cabin. They asked me to sit down! Two persons were there in the cabin (Technical and HR was combined)!
1) First they asked me to introduce myself.
2) Asked about seminars and mini-projects.
3) Difference between XHTML and HTML (I had put it in my resume !).
4) What do you mean by CSS?
4) What do you mean by a scripting language?
5) Heard about gems? (I put Ruby programming in my tech skills).
6) Program or algorithm to reverse a string without using methods such as strlen or reverse,
7) Program to generate the following sequence for a given count.
