Placement Papers - ORACLE

Hi, greetings all,

It was pool campus drive of Oracle Financial Services Ltd at Thakur College of Engineering, Mumbai where 32 colleges participated.

There were 3 rounds.

1. Aptitude Test which was online conducted on http://gild.com which was based on Data interpretation/ Numerical analysis / Logical reasoning/ English comprehension.
There were 3 sections in Aptitude Test as Quant- Logical, Technical and English with time limit and each question has separate time limit.
Quants part was bit easy and English as well. But technical part was moderate as it contained questions on theory. Aptitude cut-offs were moderate and I think around 120 or 150 students cleared the apti (not sure about the figure) among 32 colleges of Mumbai.

2. After clearing Aptitude, we all have been informed through email and next day we have been called up for interview. In my technical interview, I had been asked following.

Tell me about yourself ?
About Final year Project ?
What is polymorphism ? example ?
WAP to add 2 numbers ?
and lastly she asked me about some sql queries..

in my interview, whatever technical words i used, she asked me questions from those words only which I came to know in her first question only about "Tell me about yourself" so I was being bit smart and using words carefully. For e.g. I have used Scrum methodology in my final year project and told that project has followed Scrum methodology and next question she fired what is Scrum and I explained everything. So like that.. Just be calm, composed and confident. My tech interview lasted around for 15-20 minutes..

3. After sometime, results were declared. some were shattered, some were happy. Fortunately I was happy too as I was selected for last round which was Behavioral Interview lasted only for 3-4 minutes where HR asked me about family background, and some questions on my curriculum activities and finally heard the golden words, "You are selected" :) Sigh of relief ..!!
