Placement Papers - Odessa

Thanks for this opportunity to share my interview experience!

Round 1: MCQ's (48 questions 60 minutes).
This is an online MCQ which mainly focus on General Aptitude, Verbal and Technical on files. I tried my level best, I did General aptitude good. But not the Technical and there is no time for Verbal. Because the time limit is very low. But on that day itself the result was announced. After the result had been announced, at that time itself they segregated the selected members for SDE (Software Developer) and QAE (Testing) which is the student's wish.

Round 2: Programming Round (2 programs in 1 hour).
The first code to check whether the given string is balanced or not. If the given string is "aabbccdd" then it is a balanced one. If it is "aabbc" then their count is not equal so the given string is not balanced string.

And the second question is that to print the non repeating strings in a given sentences along with the punctuations. I code for the strings successfully, but that code doesn't work for punctuation. So none test cases get passed. Even though I selected for the next round. Because they not only valuate the students only by the marks they scored, They evaluate by our code only.

Round 3: Technical HR.
Based on our steams, they asked the questions. Those are fully based on the core and field of Interest. So be strong in basics and field of Interest. They ask the question in what are all the subjects we learned in the curriculum? Being an Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering department, I faced questions in Electrical machines, Micro processors, Embedded systems, Industrial Instrumentation, Data Structure, 2 Programming code, SQL queries, Control Systems, Process controls, and Measurements.

Round 4: Personal HR.
This round was held in the Odessa Company located in Bangalore. They questioned in Projects we did. Puzzles, Why SDE role? And its importance? About Odessa? Actual process going being auto correct while texting and editing, new technologies, Queries, how do you get updating yourself? I answered all the questions very boldly whatever be the answer, whether it is right or wrong. At last they give me the space to ask them any questions, I ask about their current doing projects. In this round I answer all the question with smiling face till the interview get over.
