From Army Institute of Technology, Pune. I want to share my wonderful experience is as follows, We were addressed by NTT data People and they started with the surprise quiz we got Gifts (NTT mugs) but unfortunately,
I didn't get them. It was a two-day drive. I started up with around 600 students from 8 colleges participating (MIT, GH Raisoni, SIT, PCCOE, DYPCOE) mostly from PUNE location and some students came from outside Pune also It was held at MIT PUNE pool campus.
Coming to rounds I faced.
1. Aptitude.
2. Technical interview.
3. HR interview.
1. First round is of aptitude test. After aptitude 200 students got into the technical round. (Questions were just above average but could be easily cracked if you are good).
2. Second round is of technical round which was conducted on one basis. Speaking of me I got started with my introduction (also the look given to me scared the hell out of me) this continued with basic electronic questions as I am an electronic and Telecommunication student.
Questions were asked from Basic gates, microcontrollers, and microprocessors and I also told about my programming skills and field of interest. That is C, C++, Javascript, HTML, VLSI Chip designing, PCB designing. Tell only that things which you know well. They asked me about my TE Project which was on"Home automation using IR remote" and also they asked me what was the main difficulty you faced in your project I answered that. It was around 25 minutes for me.
Just being confident is enough. There are 2 people who took my interview. After coming out from a Technical interview. I waited outside for the result when one of them came outside and told to me that I had to move towards HR round. Then I felt so happy because in a technical interview, I was a little bit nervous. I thought didn't get through the Technical interview. But folks "GOD is GREAT".
Then comes the finale HR round. Again the HR interview was taken by two people and that went awesome. Starting with Tell me something about myself, (note: be honest while telling about your quality or skills. ). Your weakness and strength. Answered confidently. (note: please don't tell lie). After that one of them asked me about my B.E. project which was on "STUDENT SECURITY SYSTEM BASED FACE RECOGNITION".
I explained everything. In brief. Folks clarify everything in short because they had less time to interview you. Try to give a logical explanation for any twister shooted to you, interviewers like that student should be into the bush not around the bush just bluffing every answer and take some time, think and answer.
I just talked and talked clearing my way to NTT data. The only tip for HR is to Be Yourself and hell yeah you can crack any interview with that. Then we waited for like half an hour and NTT officials were carrying our offer letter, they announced each name and yeah mine was there, Only 40 of us got it and they just made a list of all selected students. At last, we got a group picture and within a few minutes got a poster of it (an amazing Japanese company).
Well proud of myself Finally NTT DATA :).
