Placement Papers - NTT DATA

Hi friends,

I attended the NTT DATA placement drive in our college. About 350 students participated and only 109 cleared the first round. We wrote Amcat in the first round which includes verbal, technical, aptitude and logical reasoning.

Just write a test in IndiaBix. It really helped me a lot. The first round results were announced the next day. The day after the first round we had GD, technical HR and general HR. Around 92 got selected in GD and in the technical round, it was quite tough. Because they started asking questions about it. Net and C#. If we say we haven't done any courses in .Net and C# they will ask some questions and again they ask questions .Net and C#. In my technical interview, they asked me,

Me: Excuse me sir, shall I come in?
HR: Yes.
Me: Good eve sir.

HR: Good eve and take your seat. Tell about yourself.
Me: I introduced myself for about 10 minutes he didn't ask me to stop but I prepared that so I managed.

HR: Okay. What are the things which you like the most in the technical side?
Me: I said about my area of interest like that.

HR: Explain your mini-project.
Me: Explained.

HR: He asked me to write a program in c using sorting either ascending or descending.
Me: Wrote both the programs.

HR: You wrote a program by using an integer. Try to solve this.
(He gave a string {I, love, India} how to solve this by using sorting technique.)
Me: I don't that time how to do it. But I boldly told that we can use ASCII values and sort. The answer is wrong friends we cannot use ASCII value for string.

HR: Really? this is the method. You don't have any idea about another method?
Me: I said by using for we can do sir and I explained.

HR: He asked do you know .Net /C#.
Me: Don't know sir.

HR: Other technologies?
Me: No sir, my area of interest is os ask me something from that.

HR: Okay.
Me: Then immediately I started to tell that sir I will explain my main project. I explained.

HR: Oh. Very good.
Me: Friends if you know about your project you tell otherwise don't tell about that.

HR: Okay what is a class?
Me: Told.

HR: What is an object? what is a method? what is a source code?
Me: Answered all questions and the object definition is wrong but I answered boldly.

HR: Okay Monisha. Thank you and you can wait outside for the result.

Guys am the last person who attended the tech interview. I was really scared but I got selected. Then I went to general HR. He asked to introduce myself within 30 sec he said okay and asked me to tell him about my family. I told and he asked me any questions. I asked sir "What is the important thing which you expect from a fresher during the training period". He said motivation etc.,

I said OK sir. He asked any other. I asked another one. He told me the answer and he said thank you madam immediately. Then I said thank you sir and came out. They announced the result after 1 hour around 8 pm. Luckily am the 1 among 45 who got selected in NTT data. They immediately gave the offer letter on the spot.
