Round 1:
Written test (15 questions in 25 minutes). They had no branch restriction and no backlog restriction. Out of 330, they short-listed 213 members. It was pretty easy. It has basic math, permutation and combination, statistics and probability questions. Speed helps.
Round 2:
A. Video synthesis (3-5 minutes video) round. You have to write the implication (out of the box kind) but not the summary. We were given a sheet consisting of 3 points with each got 3 lines in it for us to write. "Precision and straight to the point" do work great here. Even some random QUOTATIONS will also work. (The video given was some sort of inspirational one).
B. One pseudo C code will be given and you have to write the "output" for that. You have got 30 minutes for these two things. All 213 members have got participated in 3rd round too. The elimination is based on 2nd and 3rd rounds.
Round 3: (deciding round).
Case study round (Group of 5 people). Given you a case and you have to analyze the problem and solve the case in a group of 5 for 40 minutes. The case given was "You have a retail shop. From last 7 weeks, the purchase of the goods got declined. But the density of people visiting the shop remains same. Even, you give away some of exciting discounts and publicity too for the past 7 weeks. What could be the problem and discuss the possible solution to it".
Approach:
1. Why was the problem raised?
2. What was the actual problem?
3. How to tackle it?
4. How in the future it would function effectively?
Finally, everybody has to conclude the discussed points in the sheet given to you.
Round 4:
Shortlisted 170 people to this round and we have 2 interviews. (Most probably 1st was a puzzle-solving interview and 2nd was of HR interview).
Some of the questions asked in 1st interview were:
They asked about our 'C' code written in the previous round and the Modified output for that if some lines got changed. Very common questions and puzzles include basic, tiny logic. They won't check for the exact answer to the puzzle but the approach.
Estimation questions:
1. Number of cars in our college?
2. Number of signal lights in Calicut?
3. The number of trees in our college?
4. Number of coffee cups used in some countries?
Round 5: HR
Routine questions and some cross-questions based on my answers. Knowing about the company and its recent deeds is must and should. This point proves that you are the most desirable person to him.
After a long duration (nearly 10 hours) of these interview rounds, they will announce the people whom they are hiring. In our campus, they took "39" people.
