Mu Sigma came to our college on to conduct their 1st round of interviews which was MuApt.

MuApt contains two main parts:

1. Basic quantatives.
2. Personality tests.
3. Data Interpretation (DI).

The quantative questions were damn easy and for cracking those IndiaBix is more than enough, same applies for data interpretation, where the questions were even repeated.

Personality test- There were basically nothing much to do, because there are no right or wrong answers, they just see how you actually think, but always you can refer MuApt sample papers from their website to actually experience it.

So just be yourself, but definitely think logically before answering them, because all they are looking for people who can analyse things well. Try to solve as many quants +DI correctly, because that is all you can do from your end, and mind you Musigma keeps an extremely high cut-off for aptitude. The only mantra for cracking MuApt is just be fully relaxed, as things are really easy but all you need to do is use your brain.

500 appeared for MuApt and only 40 cleared and I was lucky to be one of them.

For further rounds, we had pool campus and those were.
1) Video synthesis.
2) Group activity.
3) Technical+HR.

Video synthesis is a non elimination round where you will be asked to write down what you inferred from the video, DO NOT SUMMARIZE!

Next was Group activity can be either a GD or a business problem to analyse or any sort of situation. They don't care whether you start or conclude or talk too much, all they want to focus on how differently you think from others with decent communication skill and your behaviour as a team member. Mine GD topic was "Assuming Yourself as a principal of a government school and you have received a good amount of fund, what bold and innovative steps you would take".

The final round was HR where they asked basic questions like "Tell me about yourself" and other based on your resume, In HR they focus a lot on your extra-curricular activities and other details.

P.S all rounds in Musigma are cumulative, so a person who performed better than you in all the previous round will have higher chances to getting selected in Musigma. So perform well in each and every round in Musigma, to have a higher chance to get selected in Musigma.

All the best! :)
