Hello everyone I\'m from Academy of Technology (AOT) ECE Dept. I was selected for the interview of Mphasis through AMCAT. My score was 88.8% (avg of 5 sections).

Mphasis interview consists two rounds

1) Technical+HR.
2) Versant test (Voip test) telephonic round.

MY first round was like that. I entered the room greeted the interviewer. Before I could introduce myself to him he introduced himself. I was happy to see that. Then he asked how was my day, from where I belong, how far is it from asansol. After that,

Interviewer> Tell me something about yourself.
Me> Told.

Interviewer> Tell me something about any project on you have worked on.
Me> I explained it in details. It was on Bluetooth, and it was published in IOSR journals.

He wanted to see the certificate from IOSR & He was impressed with it.

Interviewer> Tell me something about your family.
Me> Told.

Interviewer> Told me to choose any language C or Java.
Me> I opted for Java.

Interviewer> What is a Constructor?
Me> Told.

Interviewer> How many types of constructor are there?
Me> Told.

Interviewer> Can constructor be overridden?
Me> Told.

Interviewer> What is Static variable?
Me> Unfortunately, I told the definition of static method.

Interviewer> Then, what is Static method?
Me> Then, I recognized my fault. Then I explained both Static method & Variable with examples.

After that he asked about reallocation, flexibility to work on any new technology etc.

Within 5 minutes they declared the result of the interview & I was selected for 2nd round.

In the Versant test round there are 6 sections.

Part A: Repeat The Following Sentences As Directed.
Part B: Repeat The sentences When the Computer completes that sentence.
Part C: Rearrange The Following Jumbled Words.
Part D: Answer The Following Question.
Part E: You Will Be Told Story (3 Story Consecutively).

Narrate The story In Your Own Words in 30 seconds.

Part F: Simple Question Related To you. In 40 seconds.

My versant test was not so good as my phone was not clearly audible & some students was talking in the room so I missed some parts.

After the test, I complained about the problem to the recruiters & they told me that they will fix it.

After waiting for 30 minutes I was told to give that versant test again.

This was a golden opportunity for me. In this time the previous problems were also solved.

Due to the previous versant test experience, I gave better than the 1st time. I answered everything.

After waiting for 5 minutes they announced the result & luckily I was selected. I was very happy.

I want to tell all of you one thing that told take tension before any interview. Just stay calm & focused, you will surely get success.
