Hi. Friends.
I attended MotherSon Sumi Infotech; Design Ltd. Paper on 2-3-2012.
Our test was offline.
There were 6 government colleges invited. Around 300 students attended that test and they cleared 34 students.
A little idea about that is:
There are two sections in the test:
Both rounds have 30-30 questions and you have to do them in 60 minutes.
You can attend any section depending on you. But you have to do both in 60 minutes.
Technical part:
1. Basic of computer in which part arithmetic and logical operations are performed.
Options were a. CPU tool b. Hardware component etc.
2. Some questions are of Java basically on try throw and catch.
3. Some questions are of C++: switch case, oops concepts, pre and post-increment are mainly focused in these questions, Stack overflow. And some segments of code for finding output.
4. One question on commit and rollback.
A transaction ends when it is:
A. Commit b. Rollback c. Commit or rollback d. None of the above.
Aptitude:
1. % gain.
2. 2 questions of series.
3. Simple calculation questions like if x=5z and 3y=15z then x=?
4. A geomatry was given and four questions on that.
That geometry is something like a cuboid of dimension 5*5*10. 10 is length. And two pipes on that of 5cm in diameter. And asked some questions.
5. 1 question on linear equation.
6. How many squares in a chessboard?
a. 94 b. 104 c. 204 d. 304.
The answer is 204. Cram it or (8*8 + 7*7 + 6*6 + 5*5 + 4*4+ 3*3+ 2*2 +1).
7. What is the smallest number by which 2880 must be divided in order to make it into a perfect square?
A. 5.
B. 8.
C. 6.
D. 4.
Ans:- 5.
Over the paper is simple you have to prepare only 2 days to clear that test.
There is no negative marking but do not try to guess. If you are not sure above 70 %.
Please do the paper as fast as you can because all students attend 50 questions and if you want to select then you have to attend the app. 59 right questions because the paper is simple and there is a high cut-off.
