Placement Papers - MindTree

Vikash yadav, NIT Goa(2017-2021).

Mindtree was the first company to have virtual hiring.

Pre-Placemnt talk - They brief us about job description, process, traning and about mindtree.

Round 1: Aptitude + coding.
There were two coding question:

1. Finding average of P multiple of any number n.
2. Given a string swap all the char X with char Y.

We are asked to complete only one question. You can do both if you have time.

Aptitude questions were decent. You can prepare this part on IndiaBix.

Round 2: Technical round.

Int: Inroduce yourself.
Me: Told.

Int: What is an algorithm? told.
Int: What is binary search algorithm? told.
Int: Write a function to reverse a string? did.
Int: What are the ds you know? told.
Int: What is diff btw array and linked list? told.
Int : What is oops? told.
Int: Whats diff btw class and object? told.
Int: Write a simple class with max details/ did.
Int: What is binary tree? told but he dint seems convinced.
Int: Write fn to insert anode in sorted array? did.

While I was writing this code connection was lost. I tried to reconnect but failed. I lost the hope. But after 30 min I got call informing me that my hr interview is at 7:45.

Round 3: HR interview.

It was a very normal Hr interview.
Next day I got mail from my training and placement cell that I m selected.

It was the company to visit our college. and I was the only student who get placed in mind-tree.

Advice for non CS branch:
Keep your basics strong in any of C or C++.
Data structure and algorithm is very imp.
Also go through OOPs concept.
