Satyam Interview Placement Paper Pattern Chandrapur
SATYAM visited at Chandrapur on 31st jan-08 & 1st feb-08 . Our college took part in The Campus,6 colleges were there.About 950 students participated in it.and finally at 10 pm on 1st feb only 120 made their mark.
APTITUDE:- The aptitude test had as usual 15 questions & best part about that was no question from English section.Marking scheme was 1:4 The important topics i think we must concentrate on are:- Ratio & Proportion Time & distance, Work Trains, Pipes & Cisterns Probability Ages & numbers SI & CI Blood Relations Logical Reasoning Calendar & Clock Pyramids.
I think if anyone practices these topics sincerely from R.S.AGARWAL then anyone can crack the apti.I would suggest to solve about 8-10 questions.generally the cutoff lies between[ 5-7]
ESSAY WRITING:- Only 305 survived after Apti . We were asked to write an essay of about 300 words on any of 6 given topics.The topics were as follows:-
1. Privatisation
2. Impact of TATA NANO
3. Impact of media on younger generation Other 3 topics i dont remember but all were general & current topics
INTERVIEW:- HR:- On 1st feb 2008 we had our interviews. my turn came at evening 5\'o clock . I was really very tired but one thing make it crystal clear when u have to do something u have to do it. Just do it. After i sat down on the hot seat, the 1st question was tell me advantages of "PRIVATISATION". As i had written the essay on my own i confidently answered it.He was satisfied. Next he saw my percentiles and was very impressesd, he asked me about my educational achievements and i aimed my missile directly in his heart and yhen he asked about family background.
WHEN U HAVE SOME VALUABLE ACHIEVEMENTS ALWAYS TRY TO HIGHLIGHT THEM SO THAT THE FRONT PERSON REALLY KNOWS WHO U R?
TECHNICAL:- My technical was also a bit HR type. He too asked me about my essay and marks. Q:Then he ased me what software u know? I replied C & C++ PROGRAMING, MS OFFICE.
Q:He asked which tools in office i was confident with?
I replied Word & Excel.
Q:Tell me if want to put SATYAM\'S logo on every slide how would i do?
I knew the answer & as i utterd the word MASTER SLIDE he said yesssss u know it..... And then he said see u at SATYAM.
I was blasted with happiness and excitement. The results were declared at 10 pm & I was one of 120. At last i am also a "SATYAMITE"
SUGGESTIONS:- I would suggest that choose an essay topic related to industries it will definitely fetch u benefits. Stress on important topics in apti Always pray to GOD as he is the All Mighty In interviews be confident while answering.
