Hi Friends
Recently I got placed in Satyam. The selection procedure is first aptitude test which was for about 30 minutes. the number of questions was 15. Its enough that if u attend 5 to 7. be sure with ur answers because there are negative markings. for each wrong answer 1/4mark for that question wil be reduced. so no guess work. The topics are
* number series
* puzzles
* time and work
* pyramid problems
* probability
* area
* simple interest
* train
Its enough to be thorough with R.S.Aggarwal. The next round was group discussion. It is the elimination round. In my group only 3 were selected out of 10. Group coordination is important. Sometimes they may ask us to choose a topic. so better be prepared with one topic. The topic given to us was IMPACT OF MEDIA ON YOUTH. Only 7 minutes was given to us. Your body language is very much important. Do not dominate others. If u start then it would be better. Try to speak more valid points. Be louder and clear in your points. Sometimes the hr may ask us to conclude then come out with a common conclusion and don give ur views. Thats it for g.d.
The next round was interview which includes both technical and hr. Some of the questions were from C, C++, Java, database, your projects... Hr round is very cool. Speak fluently and without fear. That is more important here.
