This is Divya from GITAM, Visakhapatnam. I\'m frm MCA & I would like to share my whole experience on the day wen SATYAM came to my clg. It is on 4 July 2007..

SATYAM selection process consists of :
1 APTITUDE TEST
2 GD
3 TECH+HR INTERVIEW

My Aptitude test started at 10 am. time will be 30 mins. 15 questions. Questions r frm areas like time n work, time n distance, percentages, profit loss, simple n compound interest, permutations n combinations number series etc..

Each correct ans carries 1 mark n each wrong ans leads to 1/4 reduction from the obtained marks. So be sure of ur ans... dont make guesses... usually cut off wil be frm 8 to 11. My paper was easy to me but some of my frns told dat it is tough. I marked 11 questions perfectly n i\'m very confident that i\'l go through written. Meanwhile they gave ppt..It was so nice. After ppt they announced d results of written. obviously my name was there...

Next round was GD.. many of my frns said that this was the main elimination round. 10 members a group. The moderator asked to choose our own topic. We said PRESENT EDUCATION SYSTEM IN INDIA. I\'m the initiator of my group. I opposed the topic through out my discussion.. after 10 mins of discussion with my group the moderator asked me to summarize the gd. I did it well.. after that they asked to wait for result... frns dont think that this is the main elimination round......they wil take based on ur performance only.. I waited for a long time for gd result but i\'m very confident that i\'l select coz i\'ve done very well throughb out my discussion....

After a long time they announced the GD results... my name was there. After GD they wil giv HR form. In my opinion this will play an imp role in selection process...

Next round was TECH+HR
I was called by them for interview around 7pm. I entered d room with a big smile on face and a lot of confidence.
INTERVIEWER : Hi Divya...please take ur seat.......
ME : Hi sir...thanku(i sat)
INTER : How was d day.....I think u are waiting from morning...
ME : fine sir
INTER : Tell me about urself........
ME : I strted saying.. my name, native place, family back ground, academics, hobbies, strengths. (meanwhile he interrupted me)
INTER : Tell me about ur projects
ME : I said
INTER : what is ur fav sub?
ME : C++
INTER : asked about virtual funcs, inheritence, friend funcs...
ME : I explained well with syntaxes
INTER : wat is the diff b/w applet n application....
ME : said
INTER : wat is d life cycle of applet
ME : Explained
INTER : why u joined GITAM n that too MCA
ME : said
INTER : why SATYAM
ME : said well.....
INTER : why shud I hire u?
ME: said
INTER : wer u want to see urself in next 5 years
ME : said
INTER : asked some other simple hr questions
ME : said with lot of confidence
INTER : any queries
ME : Sir, can I do my 6th sem project thru SATYAM?
INTER : no.. he explained the reason well

My interview was about 15-17 mins. I was very confident tru out the interview. I was with a smiley face. I was atisfied with my answers... He offered me shakehand n he said all the best to me.....he said to wait for results. I left d room with confidence. I was very confident till then but i became very tensed after my interview. then my frns gave me moral support wic I never forgot in my life.

After a long wait about 3 hrs they announced results.. God\'s grace.. my name was there. I\'m unbelievable. Now i\'m a member of SATYAM family.
