L&T Interview Pattern - SVNIT, Surat for 2021 batch

The very first most thing to begin with preparation is that you must be eligible for appearing in campus recruitment process and for that you must have decent CGPA to be among the top rank holders of your respective department. L&T generally asks for top 30 or 40 rank holders for placement drive and top 20 for internship drive.
Please Note : You might still appear for recruitment process if someone from 30 or 40 isn\'t willing or somehow doesn\'t applies for it then.
After shortlisting the candidates on the basis of rank the main recruitment process begin which is generally carried out in 2 or 3 rounds
First Round : Aptitude Test comprising of General English, Aptitude & Reasoning and Technical (branch related) objective questions.
The best way to prepare is from IndiaBix App. One can find all categories of questions which are commonly asked in campus recruitment tests. The common topics for L&T are work-time-wages, pipe flow, distance speed, common geometry, ratio and proportions, discount, CP,SP profit loss, percentages.
In verbal : analogies, Antonyms synonyms , comprehension etc
Technical (here for civil) : structure, som, rcc, environment, highway surveying are frequently asked.
Second Round : Personal Interview
After being shortlisted in first round candidate needs to appear for Personal Interview which comprises of Technical as well as some HR questions also there\'s an extempore.
In extempore candidate will be given 3 topics out of which candidate has to choose 1 think on it for 30 seconds and speak for 2 minutes.
Technical part will cover questions on your projects & internship, two favorite subjects, generally questions are from field topics like Building construction and materials, RCC and PSC, Estimation and Costing, Surveying and others.
Be prepared for common interview questions like
Introduction of yourself,
Are you preparing for higher education or GATE ?
Would you prefer field work or office work?
Which location across India would you prefer to work?
Candidate must answer all such questions very smartly.
