Placement Papers - ITC Infotech

ITC Infotech visited our campus on 8-9th September 2011. Around 750 students appeared for the test. The selection process was:

I Round: Aptitude Test.
II Round: Group Discussion.
III Round: Technical + HR Interview.

The first round was aptitude test. It had three sections. There were total 40 questions and the time was 45 minutes. Only 197 qualified for the second round.

Section I: Quantitative.
Section II: Logical.
Section III: English.

The second round was Group Discussion. The topics were,

* Anna Hazare movement VS Baba Ramdev movement against corruption
* Work-Life balance
* Realities Shows in India
* Alice in wonderland
* What does freedom mean to you ?
* Green IT
* Recession

Only 97 qualified for the Tecchnical + HR round. This round had both technical and HR questions. They asked me general HR questions like,

* Family Background
* Whether you will relocate or not ?
* Strengths and weaknesses
* Which Hollywood movie did you watch last ?
* What are your hobbies ?
* What did you achieve in last semester ?

They also asked some logical questions like:

There are four points at equal distance from each other , what will be the figure ?
How will you make 1000 using 88888888 (Eight 8s) using +,-,* and / using a operator any time ?

From technical section the asked about my project.
My role in the project.
Why I used open source in my project.
What according to me is the major part in software development process and why?

At last only 47 were selected.

I would like to suggest you that never give up if you are not selected in any company. I was selected in my 4th attempt.
