It started at 9:30 am,

1) Technical (written -multiple choice) (easy level): 20 minutes, 20 questions.
i.e. if the current through a resistor is 10 A, voltage is 200 V, what is the value of resistance?

2) Case study (like GD) {an article of one page is given to each candidate, asked to read for 5 minutes}. Groups formed (6 in each) to discuss the various points of the article and reach to a conclusion.

3) Interview (technical + HR).

1) Introduce yourself (not too short, not too long).
2) Why did you select your college for a B.Tech?
3) Are you satisfied with your college? justify, if yes, why? if not, then why not?
4) What are the parameters you will think of for selecting a cable for an HT motor?
5) What is a cable?
6) What do you think about the temperature rise of the cable? Is it allowed to reach 60-70 degrees Celsius, justify.
7) What is your favourite electrical machine?
8) Which relay is present in a transformer?
9) Explain its operation.
10) What are two basic relays?
11) Why static relays are more used than electro mechanical relays?
12) What is lux?
13) What are your strengths?
14) What are your weaknesses? what are you doing to reduce them?
[very crucial to check the candidate].
15) Why do you wish to join our company?
16) What type of boss you wish you needed?
17) Explain any one situation in your life, where you have done something, after doing that, you thought you must not have done that.
18) What project you have done? brief details.
