Placement Papers - Infosys

It was a campus recruitment drive in our college by Infosys.

It had 2 rounds:

1. Aptitude.
2. Interview.

The aptitude was taken on Pc and it had 3 sections:

1. Quants.
2. Reasoning.
3. Verbal.

The aptitude had sectional cutoff and time was also per section.

The time remaining in one section is not carried forward to next section so time management is very much needed in apti.

As there were 300+ students the results were declared in evening and 158 were selected for interview and I was one of them.

Next day Interview process started and almost 8-9 HR were there taking interview in different rooms.

I got chance for interview post lunch and questions were of such type.
Where do I stay.
Ready to relocate(it wud be difficult).
Then asked me about Struct in C.
DIfference betn struct and Class.
Then aslo many questions on java and C.
Some java question were on OOPS concept with real life example:
From these technical question I knew very few ans
Then he asked me questions on my hobby on which I gave ans confidently.

Then he asked quest on SQL.
ALso told to write a query.

In all I could ans very few technical questions but whatever ans I knew I gave ans very confidently.

After a week results were declared and I was selected and 107 from 158 were selected.

Hence the key thing in an interview isnt only right ans but aslo the way you answere.

Confidence is key to crack interview and a smile on face is also very helpful.
