Hello Everyone, I am Kunwar and I am here to share experience about my Infosys Placement Drive.

Before talking about paper pattern I would like to tell you that, this fiscal year the IT market was slow therefore Infosys changed its recruitment a little. Therefore, the paper difficulty level which I am going to describe may get changed by next year but the pattern will remain same.

Paper Pattern:-

1.. Logical Reasoning
2.. Arithmetic and Mathematical Reasoning
3.. Verbal Reasoning

You cannot switch between paper choices (You have to start from Logical via Arithmetic then last Verbal)

1) LOGICAL REASONING:

Consists of 15 questions and time allotted will be 25 mins.

- 5 questions based on Data sufficiency (Level- Medium).
- 5 questions based on Syllogism (Level- Easy).
- 5 questions based on Sitting arrangement (Level- Easy).

*NOTE* Questions can also be asked over Data Interpretation, So practice them also.

2) ARITHMETIC REASONING:

Consists of 10 questions and time allotted will be 35 mins.

- 5 questions on Complex arrangement/Puzzle, 1 question on crypto (Easy), 1 on Time and Speed, 1 on mixture & alligation, 1 question on mensuration.

*NOTE* P&C and Probability are also very important topics. R.S. Aggarwal is sufficient for the preparation of this section.

3) VERBAL REASONING:

Consists of 40 questions in 35 mins. This section will be the Game Changer for you.

- 10 questions on Reading Comprehensions (Difficult and Intricate).
- 8+8 questions on Sentence Correction (partial+complete).
- 6 questions on Theme detection (Complex and Tricky).
- 8 questions on Fill in the blanks (Prepositions + Vocabulary).

*NOTE* You will have to master your reading skills because time will play a crucial role.

4) INTERVIEW:

If you cleared the first round you will be called for interview. Interview will be both HR + Technical. Prepare your resume properly and honestly because questions will be asked upon that. After that, he will discuss, about the Project and will ask some basic questions. As I mentioned above, this year Infosys mainly focused upon Technical skills and my Interview was totally based on Technical Questions (No Introduction direct Technical question) but it varies from HR to HR. Questions asked were based on Cloud Computing, IOT and SDLC Models. Confidence will be the biggest weapon for you.

Out of 440 students 160 cleared the first round and finally, 123 were selected in Infosys and I was one of them.

Best of Luck Guys.
