Personal Interview:-

Next day i.e (24/10/2015) was the Interview day.

My interview went like this:-

Me: May I come in.

HR: Yes sure. Please take your seat.
Me: Thanks. Good Morning.

HR: Good Morning. (Looking at my CV)So, why your percentage is so less (approx. 70%) in B.Tech when you had 9 CGPA in High School, Rishi?
Me: Sir, because its JNTU-Hyderabad (My University)!!
// We laughed.

HR: So what? Even I've studied in JNTU.
Me: Sir, I actually concentrated more in the practical implementation of whatever I was learning either through Online Cources (MOOC's) or in the college rather than worrying much about marks and that actually helped my a lot while developing a website which is especifically dedicated to showcase the adept talent of local artists and along with it I've also completed 7 online courses from various Universities.

HR: Ok. So, tell me about the architecture which you've used for your website and tell me about the hosting details as well as about bandwidth and all?
Me: Yes, sure. (I explained about my hosting plan, database details, bandwidth etc). Then I told, "I'm not sure about the architecture whether it's 2-tier or 3-tier."

HR: You don't know the architecture?
Me: Yes Sir, I'm not sure about the architecture.

HR: Ok. What's the difference between Primary and Unique Key?
Me: Told.

HR: Can a primary key be a Null value? If yes, how?
Me: Explained with example why not and its drawback if it is placed as Null.

HR: What are packages in Java and its significance in Namespaces?
Me: Explained about it with examples.

HR: Tell me about SDLC?
Me: Explained about it.

HR:  What are Frameworks?
Me: Explained.

HR:  What all forms of Normalisation are there in DBMS?
Me: Told.

HR: What is Internet of Things (IoT)? // I've mentioned that I've attended a workshop on IoT
Me: Told.

HR: So, how IoT is different from Cloud? And what's Cloud?
Me: Differentiated them on the basis of each's connectivity role as well as their services.

HR: Isn't IoT is existing from a very long time? And  Isn't Embedded Systems and IoT are quiet same?
Me: Explained that IoT beats Embedded Systems when it comes to Range. Also, IoT is going to connect every electrical system or machine with each other, which for Embedded Systems might not be possible.

HR: Ok. So, why do you want to join Infosys when you've already started your own website?
Me: Sir, I've started this website but it does not mean that I can't work for any company or under someone. I started because I wanted to implement practically what I've learnt. And coming to Infosys, being India's 2nd number IT Services Company and state of the art Training Centre in Mysore are great perks which any Computer Science fresher want to grab in starting of his/her career.

HR: What about the Number 1 Company then?
Me: Sir, its TCS. But I want to join Infosys only.

HR: Ok Rishi. Do you have any questions to ask?
Me:  Yes Sir. As everything in Technological Sector is getting updated and replaced so fastly, how MNC's like Infosys adapt themselves as per the change and as per Client's requirements?

HR: He told that MNC's don't just switch their working strategy or even the technology with just the flow but as per requirements, they get adapted.
Me: Is infosys is also investing in IoT like TCS?

HR: Not as of now.
Me: Ok.

HR: Ok. Any other question?
Me: No Sir.

HR: Ok! It was nice talking to you Rishi.
Me: Thank You Sir! It's all my pleasure.

Results were announced, Out of 48 students, 20 were placed. I was one among them.
