Hi everyone.
I recently attended Infosys campus placement in Maharishi Markendeshwar University, Ambala.
Our day with Infosys starting at 9:00 am. We were took the auditorium of our college, where HR\'s of Infosys were present.
They started the session in a friendly manner. Then showed us video of Infosys history and Infosys Mysore campus. They motivated us in full manner.
After that around 12, aptitude test was started in batches.
Aptitude test had 3 sections.
1. Reasoning: It was average. Not very easy, not very hard. Had five question of syllogism.
Most of them were of type having answer "either I or ii follows iii".
Then 5 questions of data interpretation. It was a bar chart.
The question of was based on number of cases reported of tuberculosis, hepatitis and typhoid. With number of deaths.
Question followed were easy. But calculations were lengthy. One need to be quick while finding averages and percentages.
Then 5 questions of data sufficiency.
2. Quants:
There was a paragraph puzzle. 5 questions followed.
Q. Total 5 persons, 4 cabins on 15the floor and 4 cabins on 16 floor.
The question lack details.
Arrangement was to be made on basis of question following the passage. And each question had different arrangement. Then there was one question of crypt maths. It was easy one.
2 question from permutation and combination. 1 No of ways to arrange 5 books in 4 shelves so that each shelf has at least one book. One question from probability, time and work.
3. Verbal:
This was the toughest, hardest and very bad section.
Question were very confusing. Most of the question were based on finding correct alternative of underlined part.
Very less questions on vocab like synonyms or antonyms. There were two passage. First passage was based on history of environment studies. How it came to be a topic of concern.
This was the worst passage. One could have got. Nothing could be guessed about the answers. Moreover it was such a long passage. If I did it in starting I might not have completed the paper.
2nd passage was based on artificial intelligence turning test. As we had already studied this topic we were able to answer it easily.
Concluding for aptitude only verbal was too hard rest sections were ok. I cleared this test. Our result came around 7 pm.
Interview:
Our day started at 8.30.
They started taking interview around 9-9:30. There were 5 panels.
