Placement test at G H Patel College of Engineering and Technology on 24th Sept 2015.

Pattern:

Section 1: Arithmetic Reasoning and Analytical Thinking (15 Questions - 25 min).

5 questions on DI. Line chart based questions like ratio, percentage increase, average.
5 questions on Data sufficiency.
5 questions on Logical Relationship among statements.

Like five statements (A, B, C, D, E) are given and you have options like ABC, ECD, BCD, DCE to choose. Statements are same as syllogism.

Section 2: Mathematical critical thinking and Logical reasoning (10 Questions - 35 min).

5 questions on a puzzle: like eight subjects and their priority are given, and question are based on arrangement of that.

1 question of series: 0 8 27 125 216 __.
1 question of crypt arithmetic.
1 question of probability.
1 question of permutation, combination.
1 question of time and distance. Like two player, 1200 m race ground, speed of A 27 km/h,

And speed of B 18 km/h, when they meet first time at starting point if their direction is same and opposite. Answer : 480, 480.

Section 3: Verbal Section (40 Questions - 35 min).

5 questions on like theme detection, means one question on one 4-5 line paragraph eg. Which statement shows author\'s argument weak.
5 questions on fill in the blanks.
5 questions on sentence correction. Choose correct sentence from 4 option.
5 questions on change underlined part with correct part.
2 RC with 5 question each. Both are long. (10 questions).
