Hi,

I attended Infosys offcampus drive at tirupathi AITS college. The drive was through JKC. Almost 1000 people attended the drive. We took written test on the first day i.e. on 16feb 2015., by evening written results were announced. Only 53 cleared the written test. The test consisted 3 sections with sectional cutoff.

1) Aptitude.
2) Logical reasoning.
3) Verbal.

Verbal was too difficult, that may be the reason only a few cleared the test.

HR interview was scheduled the next day at 9 am, the interviews started at around 10.30 in 9 panels. By 1pm results were announced. 45 were selected among this 53.

Coming to my experience.

On entering the panel, I made a blunder mistake. I forgot to close the door. HR himself closed the door which was just behind him. With this I felt that I\'m OUT. He carefully scrutinized my RESUME. He asked me each and everything that I mentioned in it without even missing a single line. Fortunately there was no C language question. He asked me about all the PPT\'s, Posters I presented in various colleges, He asked me about my mini project. And the reason why I chose especially that project. I explained him clearly. Actually I\'m from ECE, he asked me " If you take IT career. All the four years B-Tech study in ECE would get wasted ?".

I told him that. Even in ECE there are few software languages like Verilog, VHDL. And for every embedded system software is a must. At finally I added. "you are asking me about the past 4 years. But I\'m planing for my future career in IT industry for next 40 years. ".

He then laughed. He glanced at my mark sheets and asked few questions from Electromagnetic theory about transmission losses. I explained him.

He asked me what about the main project that I\'m going to do. I said I didn\'t plan yet.

He asked. If I was the project leader, and rest of my team was not cooperative and the deadline was tomorrow itself, how would you complete the project within time. Or do you inform the same to your guide?

I told in my own way. Finally he asked me if I had any questions for him? I said nothing.

This was my experience at interview. I felt I would be out for that "door incident" but rest of all I did well, that may the reason I was considered. And some of my friends from CSE, IT have faced C language questions like fibonacci logic, prime numbers, palindrome etc.

Some of them explained correctly, but some couldn\'t, even though all of them cleared the interview.

What all they concentrated was our confidence levels, speaking ability.

So once if you clear the test. And if you are confident with what all you mentioned in resume you can easily clear the interview.
