Placement Papers - Infosys

Hello friends! I am Nilanjan Pandey, BCA student from Durgapur Institute of Advance Technology & Management (DIATM) college, i am going to share my Infosys interview experience. It was conducted in two consecutive days having two rounds with 169 students, there was a Aptitude round and Technical-HR round. Aptitude section was combined with two parts.

- Logical Reasoning (35 question 40 mins).

- English (40 question 35 mins).

I would like to say that, English is little bit hard, hard in the sense this paper was too much lengthy (Including Sentence correction, Tense, Sentence Rearranging, Unseen paragraphs etc.) and you have give answer faster for scoring better.

Now come to the Logical reasoning part it is easy if you make practice from R.S Aggarwal and from Indiabix.com this is enough. There was no negative marks but there was sectional cut off.

At the end of the day 124 students were selected for the final round and I was one of them.
Next day we were gathered at Techno campus for final round it was around 2.45 pm when they called me for Tech-HR, I was little bit worried and after talking couple of deep breath I entered.

HR: Hello Nilanjan! How was your day?
ME: Nice sir!

HR: So introduce yourself Nilanjan.
ME: Started with a smile on my face.

HR: What is your favorite subject?
ME: Oops ex: C++.

HR: What is object?
ME: Replied.

HR: What is Inheritance?
ME: Replied.

HR: How an object is created?
ME: Replied.

HR: What is Polymorphism?
ME: Replied.

HR: What is Dangling pointer?
ME: Replied.

HR: What are the demerits of Dangling pointer?
ME: I answered only one point and said sorry sir I don\'t know anything about
Dangling pointer beyond this.

HR: Okay fine! what are your Hobbies?
ME: Replied.

HR: Have you ever organised any program?
ME: Yes! Saraswati puja.

HR: What did you learned from there?
ME: Sir, you must work in a group or you have to work with your colleges for doing the work in fruitful manner or to achieve the goal.

HR: Suppose if any one in your group if not willing to work with you how will you manage that person?
ME: Sir firstly, I will make face to face conversation with that person, then I will point out what are the actual problem of that person doing work with me and give best solution to that person.

HR: If still that person not convinced by you then?
ME: Sir I have confidence and I know that I call easily convince that person.

HR: Okay fine.
ME(observed): I suddenly saw that there was a little smile in his face and I understood that I had already convinced him also.

HR: Anything you want to ask me?
ME: Sir give me brief account about the training.
HR: Replied!

HR: Thank you Nilanjan!
ME: Thank you Sir, have a nice day saying so shook our hands.

Its was around 5.00 pm they declared names of 104 qualified students and I was one of them.

I would like to say that friends please don\'t get hopeless remember one thing practice make perfect am saying this because I had faced several rejection such as,

Tech Mahindra (rejected in aptitude)
CTS (rejected in Technical)
Wipro (Rejected in PI)
Infosys (SELECTED).

Now I am proud to say that, I am a "INFOSIYAN".
