Placement Papers - Infosys

Hi friends,

Hope you all are doing well.,

I received SEOFFCAMPUS mail from infosys to come for written test on 13 dec at Galgotias University.

The rounds that took place were,

1. Aptitude Round (Online Test)
2. Technical cum HR interview.(Combined). 

ONLINE TEST:

There were 3 section

i). Reasoning ( 15 ques, 25 mins):
I got 5 question from Syllogism, 5 question from data sufficiency, and 5 question on data interpretation.

ii). Quant ( 10 ques, 35 mins):
In this section, i got 5 question from Linear arrangement, 1 question from each of the following topics Mixture, Number system, coding-decoding, pipes & geometry.

iii) English ( 40 ques, 35 mins):
In this section there were 2 comprehension passage , based on them were 10 question, apart from them there were questions from "correction of phrases", "spotting error", etc.


As far as this Online Test is concerned , it is very easy , you just have to manage your time well. The good thing is "NO NEGATIVE MARKING", So, answer all question.

Don\'t forget to take application form,photographs & identity proof.

Same night at around 9:30 PM, I got the mail to attend the interview at the same venue on 15th Dec.

So, I got a day to prepare for the interview, all I did was, just note down the interview questions from IndiaBix and prepared my answers.(Thanks to each one
of YOU , who had shared their interview experience , its a great help.).

INTERVIEW EXPERIENCE:

I reached the venue well before the time slot I was assigned.

We were asked to submit the resume & photocopies of all the marksheet after which they started calling names for the interview.

I had to wait for 3 hours before I got a call for interview,

Interviewer was very friendly,
Questions went like this,

i) Tell me something about yourself.
ii) Tell me about your hobbies.
iii) Do you know about SDLC ?
iv) Tell me about your project.
v) Few questions from the project.
vi) What is Black box & White box testing ?
vii) Why Infosys?
viii) Few more HR questions.

That\'s it.,
Even the other panelist were asking similar questions, a few more questions asked to my friends were,

i) Difference between IT & CS.
ii) Latest technologies.
iii) Some were asked to write simple programs like factorial, prime number programs.

" If you have cleared the apti round, chances are very high that you will clear the interview round easily"

After 17 days I got the Login Credentials mail, and after 27 days, I got the Offer Letter.
