Hi.

Like, 15 days ago we came to know about the drive is going to take place.

Eligibility: Through 65% +. No active backlogs. Streams should be CS/IT/ECE/EE/ME.

4 Colleges: GCELT (Our), GCECT, GCETT & GCETT (B) participated in the process.

**Very anxious registration process took place (Server did not response for 2 days)**

On the day of first event they decided to set the workflow like this:

1) PPT of Infosys (for 1 Hour) - which started at 12.15 pm.
2) Aptitude test round (NO NEGATIVE MARKING).

--a) Arithmetic Reasoning and Analytical Thinking (25 questions -15 Minutes).
--b) Mathematical Critical Thinking and Logical Reasoning (10 questions-35 mins).
--c) Test of Communicative English (40 questions -35 Minutes).

Section <a> Topics:

- Syllogism (5).
- Data-Interpretation (5).
- Data-Sufficiency (5).

Example (as I recall):

- Reason 1 or 2 or both or none type.

Statement: p is prime.reason:1) p=2*a, 2) p>10
Statement: a-2b=10.reason:1) a-3b=14, 2) b>0

**Some syllogisms may appear different, but actually easy overall, attempt all**

Section <b> Topics:

- Sitting Arrangement (4).
- Time-Distance-Speed.
- Encoding-Pattern (if adh:zwt::cfi:?).
- Ratio.
- Percentage-Proportion.

**3.5 minutes per question, try them all, easiest first, careful about arrangement qs**

Section <c> Topics:

- Comprehension (easy (1)+medium (1)).
- Sentence correction.
- Fill blanks.
- Analogy.

**Try passages in the end, start with easy, DON\'T READ IT AT FIRST PLACE, read the questions and work accordingly, around 50 sec per question, overall easy**

Results were announced next day, 60 selected out of 272. :-)

Day-2:

They collected out resumes first, sorted alphabetically and distributed to 4 panels.

My Experience:

Me: Should I come in?
HR: Yes. Anirban right?
Me: Yes sir. Good Morning.

HR: Tell me about yourself.
Me: Told.

HR: Ok Anirban, so you did some painting. what are things you work on?
Me: Told.

HR: So you use many mediums?
Me: Yes.

HR: So, tell me what do you like about Python? (it was in resume)
Me: Told.

HR: Which is more matured?
Me: Told.

HR: Tell me about your project?
Me: Told.

HR: So if asked, what are the things you would mind before developing a web app.
Me: Told. (UI (HTML5+CSS), Backend (Java/any other) + Scripting (JS/Python) + DB(SQL) + User compatibility) etc.

HR: What do you think about User Compatibility
Me: Told.

HR: Do you have any other projects?
Me: Yes. I did it on my own Java based image editor (like Picasa). Some features yet to be added.

HR: How would you change to Grayscale and Sepia?
Me: For Grayscale with bufferedimage function and for Sepia getpixel + setpixel with blue increased with some function.

HR: Ok. What about this Android one?
Me: I have it with me. Can I show it to you? (had device with me then)
HR: Yes, sure!

**Demonstrated the app, he looked impressed**

HR: Nice work. You need to ask anything?
Me: How long is training period, what about the in memory database of v.sikka etc.

HR: Ok Anirban, Best of luck.
Me: Thanks, sir.

40 names which were final shortlisted, were announced in evening. I was in.
