Infosys Interview Experience - Hyderabad, 26/10/2014

Hi everyone. I would like to share my infosys interview experience. I had attended infosys referral drive at Sridevi Womens Engineering College, Hyderabad on 26th october.
1st round is written test which consisted of 3 sections. (infosys new pattern)
1 ) REASONING (15 Questions, 35 MIN).
Pretty easy. Just think logically.
PIE CHART, Statement and Conclusion types of Questions etc.
2) APTITUDE (10 Question, 25 MIN).
Time & Work, Speed & Distance, Paragraph based derivations, Areas.
3 ) VERBAL (40 Question, 35 Min).
Asusual. RC, Fill in the blanks, Theme detection, Corrections.
Attempt RC in the last.
After the completion of written test, i got mail on the same day night at 11.00 saying that you have cleared the written test and the interview is on 27th (Next day).
27/10 :
I was late to the interview for 3 hours as i didn\'t see the mail immediately when i got it.
Though I was late, I had been allowed.
In the interview :
Me : Good afternoon sir.
HR : Good afternoon Sandeep.
After seeing my profile,
HR : Introduce yourself.
I started and he interrupted me when i said BAPATLA ENGINEERING COLLEGE (my college) and he started saying about his M.Tech friends who came from my college.
Next,
HR : Why your score is less in 2-1?
Me : I said the genuine reason that I had.
He asked me to describe the problem more clearly.

Some questions regarding my project?
1) How is your project used?
2) How many members are there in your team?
3) What is your role and what did you do?
Friends, try to explain the project taking a practical example.
HR: Your profile is good, though you have C programming in 1semester, you scored good. (I\'m a EEE student). Thats 1 more good point.
Me: Thankyou sir.
HR : Can you really do programming?
Me : Yes sir, definitely.
HR : Can you do any program whatever i give?
Me : Yes sir (say confidently).
He gave a program to sort numbers in Ascending order and i had written the logic correctly.
HR : Do you have anything to share with me, like situations where you done challengingly.
Me : Said.
HR: Thats good.
HR : Are you interested in Higher studies.
Me : Always say no for this question.
He also asked about my GATE exam as I\'m a EEE student.
And about Relocation and also asked whether i had any questions for him.
I asked about training.
HR : Ok Sandeep, thank you, our guys will get back to you.
me : Thankyou sir. Nice meeting you.
Waiting for a positive result.
Believe it, out of 10000 members who wrote the exam, hardly 700 cleared the written test.
So if you clear the written test you are almost IN.
