Hi,

Sorry it was too late to share my experience.
68% (with no active backlog).

FIRST ROUND :- APTITUDE TEST (oct 11th).

It had 3 sections with sectional cut off (% cut of was not revealed).

1. Arithmetic Reasoning and Analytical Thinking (15 questions, 25 minutes):

5 Questions on Data Sufficiency, 5 Questions on Data Interpretation (practice from TIME MATERIAL and INDIABIX), 5 Questions on syllogism, Syllogisms were little bit tough (practice from TIME MATERIAL and INDIABIX) 5 Data Sufficiency questions which need more calculations. Do good practice.

2. Mathematical Critical Thinking (10 questions, 35 minutes):

5 Questions on Sitting Arrangement (TIME MATERIAL), Normal level,
Probability, Time & work, Time & distance, Number series - (RS AGGARWAL)
cryptarithmetic (google it just know the concept as it consumes much time keep it last as we were given easy one I made it out).

3. English Communicative (40 questions, 35 minutes):

Coming to verbal, I was not that good at verbal I just practiced many RC's and I had the basic information of sentence formation and correction. But in exam A 2 HUGE RC'S were given I left it to last and I completed my other sections in verbal each question in verbal were very lengthy to read so develop the habit of reading fasst.

By afternoon we have completed the exam we were waiting for the results in seminar hall out of 168 only 78 were selected as the no. was less I thought maybe will be out. (as I didn't that do good in verbal) due to sectional cut off many were cleared out. atlast my name was announced.

SECOND ROUND :- HR & TECHNICAL INTERVIEW (oct 12th).

Before the day of interview i just luked up a very few basic C programs and being a ELECTRONICS AND COMMUNICATION ENGINEER as I just brushed up my basics and I revised about a subject as many were asking what your favourite subject? so, I did a practise to it.

Next day morning,

I was not that tensed I had been making my self relaxed.

I was the 12th one to be called out the HR came out of the panel and he called out my name !!!

Then i went into the panel i wished him and said to sit down (as you already know that INFOSYS HR are very friendly so don't be nervous).

HR :- NIKHIL, So you're enjoying in college??!!!! (seeing my % dec from inter to B.Tech)

ME :- (I gave a smile) Sir till inter we had only academics in college and school but when I entered into the professional course we had both academics and co curricular activities. Instead of % dec i would rather say I just made it to other side too.

HR :- Ohk. Coming from E.C.E, why do you want to join our company?

ME :- (smile) Sir, you have clients from communication side too being a communication background it would help me deal with them. (I think he would be convinced)

HR :- That was smart answer ever heard. But I will give you only 80 marks to this. If you had said sir " the corporate life would be maass and my bro also said you can chill out there and they are paid heavily ".

Then I would have given 100 marks to this (he was testing you just be on your answer he was just checking your mental stability).

ME :- But in my view it is the reason why I want to join your company.

HR :- Write logic of a program of your choice.
ME :- Wrote and shown it to him.

HR :- Wrong!!
ME :- No sir, its correct I explained him the logic correctly (he was testing me).

HR :- Now started asking from electrical (saw in resume E.C.E thought that I am from electrical and communications).
ME : Don't know sir (after getting remembering for 30 secs!).

HR :- Another question from electrical.
ME :- Same answer!!

HR :- Called my training and placement madam in to the cabin and said " madam I want give this boy 30 mins to brush up his basics I don't know why I'm giving it but I had never given this such type of option "

ME :- MIND BLOCK!!!!

Came out of cabin and was feeling tensed from then I don't know what to read my classmates and my department. Faculty in finding out the answer for me. Meanwhile the next one to panel was my friend.

HR :- So you are from ELECTRICAL AND COMMUNICATION?!

My friend :- corrected him that he was from (ELECTRONICS AND COMMUNICATION).

HR :- Is NIKHIL's your classmate?

My friend :- Yes sir.

HR :- Again called TNP department madam and said me to come immediately.

After 5 mins, I went in to the cabin again.

ME :- THANK YOU for giving me the opportunity.

HR :- That's okay. Sorry NIKHIL, I thought you are from ELECTRICAL.

ME :- No sir, I'm from ELECTRONICS AND COMMUNICATION.

HR :- Ohk, asked a question from ELECTRONICS.

ME :- Gave the answer with in no time and confidently.

HR :- Ohk good. So NIKHIL, how much time do need to get C ".

ME :- 15 days.

HR :- I will give you 7 months get it learned and learn any other language of C.S.E (subject in 4th year).

ME :- Yes sir (confidently)!

HR :- It was a nice meeting you NIKHIL.

ME :- THANK YOU sir.

This was a miracle happened in my life!!

Atlast, I want to conclude that you must crack the exam first then after in HR be confident. THATS IT!!

INFOSYS can be easily cracked.

See you guys in MYSORE!!!
