Infosys Interview Experience - Coimbatore, October 4&5, 2014
I had attended Infosys On-campus drive in my college.
It was a two day process.
The first day we all assembled for pre-placement talk at 9 sharp. It went like for an hour.
And the first batch for online test started at 11 a.m. I was in the second batch and it started at 1.
Round 1: ONLINE APTITUDE TEST:
- Quants: 10.
Questions were from allegations, percentages, data arrangement, profit and loss.
- Logical: 15.
Questions from syllogisms(5), data sufficiency(5), Coding and decoding(2) that much I remember.
- Verbal: 30.
Questions from 2 reading comprehension(10), Grammar fillers(8), sentence correction(8), Theme detection(4).
Question were easy.
After that 191 got selected for the next round. I was one among it.
The next day,
Round 2: Technical + General HR.
I was called after a long 3 hours wait.
I greeted him and sat down.
HR was thoroughly going through my resume.
There was no self-intro, directly the HR started asking about my android project first.
I answered it well.
The next question was from my area of interest i.e. Data structures.
Asked about the efficient sorting algorithm.
Also the implementation of quick sort.
I answered the logic correctly, but the code was not correct.
Then he asked about the insertion of linked list.
Since it was very basic he wanted me to answer it, which i dint disappoint him.
Then finally he came to my final year project which i was able to explain it perfectly with confidence.
Then he asked "any questions?" and I asked how to sustain in the IT industry and about the training & Internships at Infosys.
Then I greeted him and left.
My interview lasted for about 40-45 minutes.
And after 4 days results were published and I am one among the selected candidates.
Happy to be an Infoscian!!
Be clear in what you say and be confident which they expect from us.
Overall, If you clear the first round then it will be not so tough to get in.
