Hello everyone,

Infosys visited Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology, Delhi on 1st September, 2014.

Firstly the pre-placement talks were initiated.

There were only two rounds i.e. 1st round was Aptitude test and 2nd round was Technical and HR interview.

The Aptitude was tough and don\'t take it lightly.

This test had three sections with sectional time limit and SECTIONAL CUTOFF as well. So you need to be good at all the sections:

1. Reasoning - 15 questions, 25 min.
2. Quantitative Aptitude - 10 questions, 25 min.
3. Verbal ability - 40 questions, 35 min.

The most difficult questions, due to time limit was Quantitative aptitude. Focus more on this section.

Out of 576 students who appeared for the aptitude test, 364 cleared the aptitude test.

The Technical/ HR interview was on the next day.

We were called in college at 8.30 am and the documents and application form were stapled together and the interview panel was allotted.

The interviewer was a very polite lady and she constantly maintained smile on her face throughout the interview.

She asked me several questions.

1. Tell me about yourself, about Academics?
Ans: Told.

2. Tell me about the projects that you have worked on?
Ans: Told.

3. What are your plans for Higher Studies?
Ans: Told Not interested.

4. How did you get your last Internship?
Ans: Told.

5. Why do you want to work and not go for higher studies?
Ans. Told.

6. Tell me about the lowest point that came in your life and how you dealt with it?
Ans. Very tricky question don\'t just blurt your heart out and try to conceal your weak point with your strengths.

7. Tell me about your family members?
Ans. Told.

After this she told me that she\'s done with the interview and that I can leave.
I stood up and shaked hands with her and left the room.

Three days after the interview results came and out of 364 students who cleared the aptitude 288 were selected and I was one of them.
