Placement Papers - Infosys

Hi everyone,

I would like to share my experience with Infosys Recruitment Drive in our College.

There was an online aptitude test pattern includes,

Verbal 40 questions - 35 min.
Quant 10 questions - 35 min.
Logical 15 questions- 25 min.

Among them quant is little hard but we can come over it by practicing.

Out of 700 nearly 430 got selected from online test to interviews.

There was only one interview both HR and Tech. A person from Infosys may be he is a Senior Manager interviewed me.

Interviewer : Hello Deepthi. How are you?
Me : Good afternoon Sir. I\'m good.

Interviewer : Tell me about yourself?

You should introduce your self in a way that it should make you unique from others. It should be Brief, simple that he shouldn\'t question you from your answer.

Interviewer : So what is Hadoop and what are the file systems?

As I had given a paper presentation on it we went on that topic and about file systems I said about NTFS and FAT.

Interviewer : Tell me why Java is important?
Me : Told.

Interviewer : What are the Oops concepts?
Me : Told.

My advice is give the real time examples which are apart from the book.

Interviewer : What do you know about Infosys?
Me : Told.

Just listen the pre-placement talk by Infosys. It gives you the current Information.

Interviewer : Why Infosys and why we need to hire you?
Me : Told.

And it went on about my Academics percentage, Relocation.

You need to be confident while answering a question whether it is right or not. Be perfect with your basics of C, C++ or the subject you\'re interested in.

Finally 238 people are selected in Infosys. I was one of them.

I got selected in CTS and Infosys but I preferred for Infosys.
