Placement Papers - Infosys

Hi All, I attended the campus recruitment of Infosys at BNM Institute, Bangalore. The first round of the selection process was an online Aptitude test which consisted of following sections:

1. Aptitude - 25 question 25mins.
2. Logical Reasoning - 10 question 15 mins.
3. Verbal Ability - 20 question 20 mins.

The online test was a mass elimination round. Around 300 were shortlisted among 600 students for their Personal Interviews. Let me say you, The HR\'s of Infosys are the most decent ones. The PI in Infosys is completely based on your luck. You might have a pure technical interview or a pure HR or a mixed of both. I got into the panel of pure technical one.

I will just put a review on my interview in few lines:

Interviewer: Hello. What\'s your branch? (I was shocked. I thought he would be asking me some basic Hr questions first).
Me: Electronics and communication.

Interviewer: So. Tell me something about diodes. Characteristics and types.
Me: Told.

Interviewer: Write a program to find reverse of a string.
Me: Done.

Then he talked 5 mins about the complexities of the code. How time complexities can be reduced. It was a discussion more than an interview.

Interviewer: Draw a rc coupled amplifier and explain its working and advantages, if any!
Me: Done.

Interviewer: Anything special about infosys? why infosys?
Me: Told about Infosys and its popular Finacle banking software.

Interviewer: Interested about technologies? do you know about any?
Me: Cloud computing. Told everything from its basic. Again a 10 min DISCUSSION on it apart from interview.

At last after discussion, The HR was smiling and told it was a nice conversation.

Finally a 25 mins long DISCUSSION was over. After the results I saw me among the selected student list!
