Hello Friends.
I am Vaibhav Heddurshetti, I am a Engineering passout student in june 2014 from KLE COLLEGE OF ENGG & Tech (EC). Infosys Conducted the Poll Campus for 3 colleges at BVB College of Engineering & Tech Hubli, Karnataka. Infosys have their recruitment process in two parts:
1. Online Test.
2. Technical / HR Interview.
1. Online Test :
It Consists of two parts.
A) Analytical thinking & Reasoning : 30 questions 35 Minutes.
This section consists questions on identification of odd picture among given set of picture, some analytical data will be given and some 5 questions will be asked on that,
Data sufficiency, data interpretation (table chart) , etc. To prepare this section refer questions from indiabix and you will ample amount of confidence to answer these questions,
B) Verbal Section : 40 questions 35 questions.
In this section questions will be asked mainly on Passages (2 passages) , theme of the paragraphs, fill in the blanks which logically forms the correct statements, arrangement of statements based on appropriate which gives correct meaning. To prepare this section refer questions from indiabix and you will ample amount of confidence to answer these questions.
But One important thing to remembered the questions will not be repeated, but the pattern will be same.
After this round the, results were announced where 48 were selected from around 300 -350 students.
Once you clear this round chances of getting selected will be 95 % sure, the rest 5% will be because of your poor performance in the Second round.
The Second round i.e. Technical / HR Interview was scheduled on 27th june, I was one among those 48 students selected for 2nd round.
The questions in this Round will be purely based on your Resume, and upon the mindset of the interviewer, So be prepared with the things that you have mentioned in your resume and also with your FINAL YEAR PROJECT.
If you have mentioned any languages prepare the basic concepts and basic programs.
My interviewer was very calm person. Firstly he asked me to introduce my self, I did it in 2 minutes, the main thing here is that they see your communication skills. So be calm and introduce your self by looking into the eyes of the interviewer. This will increase the chance of getting selected.
Next He asked about my Family background.
Next I was asked to explain about the internship that I had done.
Next Question was Explain different types of Network Topologies.
As I had done Some of the Courses on Networking Such as CCNA, MCITP. Some general questions were asked on those topics.
Next the most important thing was to explain about my Final year project.
Friends this section will decide whether you will be selected or no, so clearly and calmly explain your project.
NOTE : For Some students Project was not at all asked, question on their favourite subjects, for some on C. (C++ If you mention it in your resume).
Finally I was done with the interview and results were announced, totally 40 out of 48 students were selected and I was one among them.
