Hello friends, I recently attended Infosys placement drive. Here is my experience:-
1) Aptitude Test.
In this online test there are two rounds, first is Reasoning and second is verbal ability test.
Reasoning test includes -
Picture reasoning, DI, Pie chart, direction test and blood relation problems. It was quite easy. You can refer RS Agarwal book that is sufficient for it.
In next Round, There are verbal Ability Test. It was not so difficult but time consuming.
It includes - 2 passages, sentence correction, conclusion from paragraph and fill correct sentence.
You can solve previous years question papers from different websites. Try to do passages in the last. It will save time.
To crack this test, you have to quick and correct. This is not very tough and can be done easily,
There are 300 students from which 73 selected in written test.
Next day, Interview was held.
2) Technical Interview:
Interviewer asked me following questions.
- About my projects.
- Question from Resume.
- What is ArrayList and Hashmap?
- Diff between outer and inner join.
- Diff between left outer join and right outer join.
- What is jQuery (as I mentioned in one of my projects in resume).
- About Hobbies.
- Strength and weakness.
He even asked me some HR questions like.
- If you have to arrange a marriage then how you manage it.
- If you have to collect funds for your college function then how will you do it.
3) HR Interview:
In HR interview he asked me basic question.
- Tell me about yourself.
- Describe your college memories in one word.
- Tell me some incidents of your college.
- Why you choose computer science.
- Are you ready to relocate.
- Any question ?
Finally result was declared and I was selected. If you cracked the test then interview is not very difficult to clear. Indiabix helped me a lot and I am very thankful for it.
