The entire process was an 2 step process :

* Aptitude Round:

1. ANALYTICAL REASONING TEST.

QUESTIONS: 30.
DURATION: 40 MINUTES.

- PICTURE REASONING (5 questions).
- STATEMENT REASONING (5 Questions).
- DATA SUFFICIENCY (5 questions).
- DATA INTERPRETATION (5 questions).
- RELATION PROBLEM (5 questions).
- SYLLOGISM (5 questions).

2. VERBAL ABILITY.

QUESTIONS: 40.
DURATION: 35 MINUTES.

1. SENTENCE CORRECTION (8 questions).
2. UNDERLINED A PART OF SENTENCE AND ASKED TO INSERT CORRECT PHRASE IN IT FROM THE GIVEN 4 OPTIONS (8 questions).
3. FILL IN THE BLANKS (8 questions).
4. THEME DETECTION (6 questions).
5. TWO READING COMPREHENSIONS (10 questions).

- Interview :

The interviewer was an humble person focused in testing technical as well as communication skills. The questions asked were:

I - Why are your cpi (7.61) average ?
Me - Did bad in 6th sem which brought the average down but coped up in 7th sem and very high hopes for last sem.

I - Explain me your project.
Me - Explained.(A very detailed description is expected and a series of questions based on your explanation follows .)

I - Which are your fav subjects ?
Me - Java , DAA,..

Questions asked:

- Algorithm for maximum of 5 numbers.
- Logic of Palindrome for string. RADAR
- Finding Prime number in most efficient way.
- Swapping of two numbers: with and without use of third variable.
- Maximum of 5 numbers.

- What is normalization ? Explain with example.
- Point out the keys in both table. (Primary and Foreign key expected)

- HR based Questions: are you ready to relocate? Will your parents allow ? Infosys works on emerging technologies. Are you ready to learn and work on new technologies?

If you can communicate well or have an good command on English you can definitely be a part of INFOSYS. Thankful to all those who helped managing the drive and a big thank you to our placement officer without whom Infosys would have never approached our campus.
