Hai friends,
Infosys came to our campus on 30th October.
Eligibility criteria was 68% aggregate in B-Tech with no active backlogs.
At 9 o\'clock they started with ppt which gave an overview about the organization.
Then 150+ eligible candidates including me had the aptitude test. It was online examination. It had 2 sections, logical and verbal. Both were really little bit tough. But regular practise will make you get through this easily.
Logical section contained questions from syllogism, interpretation, data sufficiency, visual reasoning, cuboid problems etc.
Then verbal contained 2 big RCs, sentence correction, theme detection, sentence completion etc. Both has sectional cut offs! Results were announced after 3 hours. Only 37 were shortlisted and I was one among them. :).
HR interview was on the next day. I was the first who got the call for the interview.
It was single face to face interview. HR was really pleasant. So I was not nervous.
As only 37 were shortlisted my interview longed for 20 minutes.
He asked about myself, hobbies, strengths, weakness, hobbies, what do you know about infosys, about leadership, teamwork, about scout and guides (as I was a member of it) , projects, why IT field after opting ECE, willing to relocate, trends in EC and IT, seminar, inspiration, experiences during camp, examples for my strengths in the resume, an incident which put a lot of effort but was a failure, about planning, leadership qualities needed etc.
He didn\'t ask any technical questions. Be thorough with your resume. But technical questions about C and C++ were asked for my friends.
Well it depends on that particular HR. So just go through the basics of C and C++.
The results were announced at 3 in the afternoon. My name was called first. :). I was super excited. Indiabix site helped a lot both for HR and aptitude. Thanks a lot.
