I attended infy (off-campus) test on 27 nov at    sydenham college at mumbai and interview on the very next day at one    office in nariman point around 120 people were shortlisted 4    interview. I got my call letter today i.e. on 07 dec and my joining    date is 19dec in mysore this was possible only bcoz of the Friends group

now for the test, if    only 4 to 5 days are remaining 4 the test then start solving the    previous ques papers. remember the key to crack the test is to solve    prev ques    papers

1ST    PART:APTITUDE

1)A    man spends 60 days in jail.the jailor gives him rs 7 for each day that    he works but the man has to pay rs 3 if he dosen\'t work for any day.he    earns rs 170.for hw many days was the man in jail?(3 mks)

2)a    tailor sells cloth 40% above the wholesale price.but the scale which    he uses to measure cloth while selling is not correct.so that he earns    only 39% more. what is the length of the scale?(4 mks)

3)3 people A    B and C go in three diff directions and each brings with him an animal    a camel ,a mule and a horse.the CBI catches them and interrogates    them, each one gives the foll statements:

A 1.B has taken the    horse
B 1.A is lying
2.B is lying
3.i haven\'t taken    anything
C 1.A is lying
2.B has taken the mule
later it    was found out that the person who had taken the camel is lying and the    one who has taken the horse is telling the truth. Find out who has    taken which animal.

4)(i dont remember this ques correctly) it is    sumthing lik this: a lady gives half of her cents and 1 penny to a    beggar.then she gives half of the remaing money and 2 pennies to    another.again she gives half of the remaining money and 3 pennies to    another.now how she is left with 1 penny(or cent..i dont    remember)much money did she have earlier.

5)(repeated)A software    engineer returns from America. As he is fat he decided to have evening    walk he starts at 3pm. he walks along the road at 4km/hr for some time    then he climbs a upward slope area at 3km/hr then back downwards at    the rate of 6km/hr.then again the road at 4km/hr. what is the distance    he covered in one way if he reaches back home at 9pm

6)in a tug    of war,jack pulls hank and bert(not sure if this is the name)    together.but jack and bert are just able to hold tuck and jack but    when jack and bert exchange places .tuck and bert easily pull jack and    hank.list them in the asending order of strengths.

7)series:

b) 3 6 13 26 33 66 __    (repeated)

8)(repeated)Four persons A, B, C and D are playing    cards. Each person has one card, laid down on the table below him,    which has two different colours on either side.No card has the same    color on both sides. The colours visible on the table are Red,Green,    Red and Blue respectively. They see the color on the reverse side and    give the following comments.
A: Yellow or Green
B: Neither    Blue nor Green
C: Blue or Yellow
D: Blue or Yellow
out of the    4 people 2 always lie find out the colours on the cards each    person.

9)(this was a repeated ques) one on 5 people and languages    they speak,foll condtions were given

i) b and c speak english    but when e joins them they also start lerning spanish since spanish is    the only common language betn them
ii) spanish is the most common    language
iii) 3 people speak portugese
iv) ..many more    conditions were there but sorry i do not remember

10)e has    holiday on thur,e\'s holiday is in between a and    c. Find when do a b c and d hav a    holiday

2nd    PART    ENGLISH

this    is really easy. no need to refer any books. only if ur    below average in english then only spend time in preparation of this    section but dont ignore this since it has a cut-off

if u r    good in english then try to solve this as quickly as    possible and if time permits solve the apti ques if any ques if    left coz the answer paper of apti section will b there with u    till the end
