IBM Interview Experience - Sharda University, Noida 18-21Jan
The test pattern was as follows:
18 questions were from series completion.
18 questions were from quantitative aptitude.
22 questions were from business communication.
For the number series, I was pretty sure that I have done 16 out of 18 correctly. For this, I would suggest all to practice all the previous year questions.
For aptitude, I would suggest going through all the topics from IndiaBix. Don't depend on the selected topics. I had done only selected topics but the questions were bit difficult and also not from those topics so I was able to do 7-8 questions correctly in aptitude.
For Business communication, I was pretty much confident and I was able to do 20 questions correctly.
So, after we have done with it, result was announced after 2 hours and my name was on the list. I guess only 20% students were able to made it. One thing to be noted is that if you are able to clear the first round then there are very much high chances that you will get selected. Then our document verification was done and we were called for the (tr+hr) on the next day.
So, on next day we were made to sit in a hall to wait for our turn. Finally, my turn came after 1 hour or so. I entered the room and greeted the HR with smile and asked if I can sit. He was the best HR I have ever met. He was so friendly that all the nervousness that I had, all got vanished. He asked about my intro, my hobbies and one or two technical ques that were very easy and rest were all the basic talks that don't have anything to do with the interview. Always maintain a decent smile. Remember academics matters in IBM. Answer all the questions with confidence. They just check your confidence, fluency in English and ask the things you have mentioned in your resume mainly the projects.
So, it was a very good experience and I was told to go to the control room after that where they have told the result and biometric was taken after that. I think 80% students were selected from the students who have taken the hr+tr.
Good luck guys!
