Placement consisted of 3 rounds.
1) First round consisted of aptitude as well as number series. Each question has a timer. If you answer within the time limit then you may go to the next question but however the remaining time will not be carried over to the next question. Each question has 1.5 minutes time.
Aptitude was of medium difficulty. Questions were mainly based on probability, time and work, permutation and combination, time and distance etc.
Number series was comparatively easier.
For eg. 8, 27, 64, 125, 216, 343 what is the next number.
Answer. 512 (8*8*8 each number can be reduced to a number of power 3).
About 30 questions where asked in aptitude and 30 in series. Total of 90 minutes.
Out of about 300-400 students, around 60 got shortlisted.
2) Second round consisted of Mail writing capability. This was a MCQ question where each question had some format of the mail and the next line was to be selected from the options.
For eg. What comes after "from" details is specified?
Answer. Date.
Out of around 60 students, 28 got shortlisted.
3) Third round was a HR round where the general HR questions were asked. Like Tell me about yourself, Are you planning to do your higher studies, Tell me about your hobbies, what is your final year project etc.
For me the main questions asked were about the final year project. I just explained it fully and was placed in IBM Global.
Out of 28, 27 got the job offer.
Just be confident and you can crack any interviews.
