Hi everyone,
I was attended IBM GBS offcampus drive at SA engg college on 21st Jan 2013.And they were mainly had 2 sections for 1st round.
In first round has two sections,
1) Number series(18 ques-with a timer of 2min and 15 sec for each ques).
2) Quants(18 ques-with a timer of 2min and 15 sec for each question).
There was no sectional cut off and no -ve marking.so try to solve all the probs within the time limit.i ll tell yu d number series ques,which i solved based on my memory..,
SECTION 1: Number series:
a)3,7,10,8,4,12,0,5,5,3,2,?
Ans:(Divide the 3 elements into one group ) 3+7=10,8+4=12,0+5=5,so 3+2=5 is the answer.
b)0,1,1,2,0.5,2,2,4,2,2,4,3,7,2,?
c)1,1,2,4,6,36,39,1521,?
d)7,4,6,3,4.5,1.5,2.25,? Ans: -0.75
e)2,9,5,49,11,169,? Ans:22
f)49,7,98,16,4,48,9,3,36,25,5,?
g)2,6,5,14,11,26,17,? Ans:60
h)7,0,1,8,5,12,9,26,3,23,2,? Ans:28
i)2,3,10,15,26,? Ans:35

I don\'t know the exact answer for these problems these are the answers I have got while I solved the paper..Please check it once then sec 2 was,
SECTION 2: Quants:
They were mainly concentrate on following topics.They are,
a)Time and distance.
b)Time and work.
c)Profit and loss.
4)Percentages.
5)Ratio and Proportion and
6)Ages.
They have informed the result on same day within 20 mins,and i was selected for the first round. More people selected in first round.Then they were conducted second round of interview also same day immediately.
Round 2: Communication round:
There they were concentrated on Punctuation,correct usage of words from following passage,and error detection and so on...I feel little tough bcz i am week in English grammar... The second round results,they intimated through email. I was rejected.. I have a very good experience...I am sharing my experience with all of you friends...I l believe this quote,"Human beings can make any plans they want, but it\'s God that decides their success or failure". Prepare well and Do well:-)
